My kitty decided that my CPM unit was the bomb after my last knee surgery. I have lots of pictures of her on it. I suppose it was the bomb for her like a giant sheepskin sling. She was smart enough to stay off it when it was in motion. :)
I had upper eyelid surgery in November of 2007. Just on my left eye to remove a growth on the edge of my eyelid. I wish I had done it sooner (would have been so much easier the size of the wedge that he removed was rather impressive). I had a lot of swelling post-op that I wasn't really warned about. I have to say I was seriously impressed with the removal and now you can't even find the scar.
Ack, good that you finally got it done! I hope your recovery went as easy as mine's going. (antibiotic ointment, ice, Tylenol, sleep on back only, wait 48 hours to wash hair *ewww*, don't lift heavy weights or exercise vigorously or cry for a week). I dunno if you restricted your computer activities some, but I've been mostly staying away -- will return to work on a small contract job tonight.
BTW m procedure was to remove excess skin from each eyelid -- often a cosmetic procedure, but in some cases, such as my own, the lids hang so low that they obscure vision.
I've been straining to keep my eyelids open for quite a while now, and that may be one of several reasons I started getting a lot more migraines than before. It may also have been a contributing factor to my difficulty driving after sunset (light diffracting through my eyelashes?). Plus, I think fewer people will ask me if I'm tired or even (in one case) wonder if I'm on drugs. Which has been pretty annoying.
