The phone just rang. jodawi called.

She's done, and in 10 minutes they will be wheeling her to a private room.

Surgery went well.

The kidney looks good. It will take another 48 hours before we know whether the pancreas is operational or not.

You may all breathe out again now.

transplant called about 40 minutes ago. enough time for a shower (which I got), but then head into the ER... dialysis first, then it looks like I'm getting the organs.

more when/if I can, otherwise a friend will update.

getting the hell to Geisinger...

(as long as the organs are OK and the cross-match is negative...)
