I would say about a year ago I read all of the Game of Thrones books except for the two short stories. Then when I heard that there was going to be a show and saw the trailer I have to admit I did squeee ( Read more... )

I've been considering reading the books, since I'm about to catch up on my reading materials again soon. But I was trying to let myself watch the show first. It was much easier to be happy with the HP movies when I did that for the first 4 or 5. I have the show on my comp, just haven't started it yet ( ... )

What is odd about having the show out is that the series is not finished. In fact I don't even thing we have reached the peak of the overall story arch in the books. I think that if you do watch before reading this will be just like the Potter movies. Just from the first episode I can say that there is about 2-3 episodes worth in the book ( ... )

LOL Well, if one day Krystal and I get our story published (she really wants to try) then maybe we can help start that movement XD Though I may have to cut out two in every three scenes since there's a LOT XD
