hey Deon. Hopefully today's UBT helps a bit with the sadness...! Meanwhile, hasn't it been so great a blessing to have gone through James this semester. I've especially enjoyed it having being my last "module" if you like... sigh...
I know, hey. James has been great. I was talking about it with Beavs and John Baque as well. We've all really enjoyed the UBTs this year. We got so much out of Leviticus (that we never even knew was in there!), the Luke talks were good, and the James talks just had so much application and good points. I know I for one was really convicted of sin in one of them. I'm glad that your last "module" was good too.
As for the sadness, I'll live. Having a week like this every now and then makes you appreciate the rest of the time when everything is awesome more, I suppose. Still, it's frustrating. Aw well. As you reminded me of what we learnt today:
"Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises" (James 5:13 NASB). And the rest that follows as well.
