Arrival in Bangalore
I have arrived safe in Bangalore, and I spent the day ensconsed in the hotel
After spending about 27 subjective hours at airpots or on planes, I made it to the airport, and got through all of the lines and hassles on all ends fairly easily. I even got a little sleep on the two flights, although I did catch a good nap this afternoon.
The hotel is lovely - more later, but this is a shot of the entrance:
I had a new life bird before leaving the airport (Thick-billed , or Jungle, Crow). Here's a pic taken under slightly better light
These guys really are all over the place.
I've also netted the following:
Black Kite (think a hawk, more or less)
Jungle Myna
Red-whiskered Bulbul
Asian Koel
House Swift
Common Tailorbird
Good food for breakfast and dinner (slept through lunch), and now to bed.
