Ruby meme!
Alright! So, guardianangel_x tagged me to do the meme and I got Ruby! Now, I know that I'm on thin ice doing this and I've been warned not to let my crush on Genevieve Cortese get in the way of my judgment. Which is a fair to say, things like that can bias people :-) But I think I can separate the two.
Anyway, here's my take on Ruby!
(she's even cute when she's all pissed off...damn, this is going to be harder than I thought)
- Do you like this character? It depends on what you mean by like. I like the character of Ruby. Her character is mysterious because you don't know where her loyalties lie. One one hand, you have the fact that she's helped Sam and Dean, which has included being tortured, but on the other hand she's a demon, and even Sam says he can't trust her. I'm not sure if she's siding with Sam and Dean, is secretly working for Lilith, or if she has her own agenda. But the fact that I don't know makes her interested. As to what she's done, I don't agree with all of it. I think that having looked at it closer, she took advantage of Sam (thanks to kowaiyoukai for doing a kick ass job of explaining this) and that's obviously wrong .
- What name(s) do you call this character? Ruby. I don't think there is anything else to call her.
- What image/color do you associate with this character? Black, it's the outfit and all that thick black hair. Plus that cool "black eye" effect that she can do.
- What image-song do you associate with this character? I really don't have one. There is the creepy violin music that always seems to play when she's around, but I can't think of an actual song that goes along with her.
- What blood-type do you think this character is? We know that it's demon blood. But wouldn't she also have the same blood type that Jane Doe 45-098-R3 had?
- Of all the titles that this character appears in, which character do you like to put his character with? Me :-) But seriously, Sam is the obvious choice because they interact so much and have a "special" (if you want to call it that) relationship. I like her disdain for the angels, so it would also be interesting to see her pair up with Anna again, especially now since Anna has her groove back. Seeing her with Lilith would be interesting to. Maybe we could find out what she had to do to get out of Hell.
- What would you want to say to this character? "How's about you stop driving a wedge in between Sam and Dean and you and me go get some french fries?"
- What do you want to do with this character: shake hands, hug, or kiss? You know, as much as this is probably going to sound like total crap, I wouldn't do what everyone would assume. She's walking around in someone else's body. And that someone else is dead. Loads of ethical issues there. But I would probably give her a hug, after she's had a bad day or something. But something tells me she isn't the hugging type.
