That's awesome - but didn't you run 26.9 miles? I'm confused. I'd round that sucker up to a 27!

lol.. yes, i ran 26.9 miles in the marathon, but the course itself (and every marathon, by definition) is 26.2 miles.

i probably added on the extra distance by being on the outside of overpasses as we ran up them, or zig-zagging around people early in the run. over the span of 26.2 miles, that extra distance builds up.
