Everyone but me probably knew this already, but today I learned yet another excellent use for hydrogen peroxide: It gets blood out of clothing like nobody's business. You pour it on, and it foams up and attacks the blood (which looks totally cool), maybe you scrub a bit because that's what you do, and you rinse, and if all of the blood is not gone ( Read more... )

You can make a really neat stain remover by mixing hydrogen peroxide with dish soap.

I don't know; I was chicken to try it on the dark fabric. Further experimentation (maybe without blood) is warranted.

Undiluted, it can. (Discovered after an inattentive infusions nurse failed to set up an IV properly, leading to much blood spewing all over a favourite shirt and not being noticed due to sedation on the part of the shirt-wearer. The blood all came out, but a spot on the shirt is slightly faded.)
