I just found out that John Simm and Philip Glenister (Sam Tyler and Gene Hunt, Life on Mars) are both acting in a heist movie, Tuesday, scheduled to come out next year. Or at least he was last week. I haven't seen this week's episode yet; it's downloading in the other window.

I hear rumors to this effect. Having seen the episodes in question, I am neither confirming nor denying them on the internets.

(Seriously. hr_macgirl, who is the household Master of British Drama, considers it one of her favorites, and thinks it's unconscionable that there's no R1 DVD release.)

Amazon believes that it might come out on DVD in some indeterminate region at some point, so I'm on their send-me-email list. If I'm lucky, I will find out that I can download it from somewhere, because I'm both excited and bummed.
