[Texas had made sure he came in from outside, cleaned up, and was outside his daughter's door just in time. He could only imagine it had something to do with Father's Day, knowing her. Since it was a special occasion, he had taken the time to clean and polish the ring she had given him last year.

[Roslyn sprung out of the beanbag chair, pulled open her door and gave Texas a tight hug before she let him inside.]

Hi, Daddy! Happy Father's Day!

[She gestured for him to take a seat on the bed.]

It has eggs and steak and potatoes and onions and cheese...
