My working theory is that Teyla and Rodney actually started their more physical relationship when Teyla was pregnant. Which makes Rodney feel weird. And a little proud that he can do something *right* and *good* for Teyla when she's hurting. I tell you, my brain is awesome for things like this.

I could totally see that - she needs touch and while he might be a little ooked out about pregnant-sex, he'd be great at massaging and stuff and then things would progress from there. Since she's feeling a little emotional and vulnerable and he gets to be the Big Strong Man for once.
