After watching the only 3 episode of the anime that was on YouTube (and I can tell that this series will have me headdesking and face-palming almost as much as Full Metal Panic did, if not more), I have to say that you're spot on with Takami-kun! *thumbs up for j00!*

Question, though...is there any manga for you to pimp? If so, please do so! You might get some more of your fandom's characters! :D

There is, if you rummage through campersfuckoff, where there were YSI downloads. If you look to the "apps are opening on such and such a day" post a few weeks ago, as well, there's a link to the manga hosted online in Kira's thread calling for Ouran apps. Aku-Tenshi also scanlated the manga, and you may be able to find it online...

... or you can just buy what Viz put out!

Legally own manga, you say? *le gasp!*

Ah, well, hopefully the YSI links won't be expired already! And I've been trying to find that blasted App posted for ages now. It's buried under so much of the OOC crackness!

Btw, you get even more love for being a quick response! *V-signs right back at ya*

Comment notifications let me give snap responses, I guess? XD

I think Viz's stuff is worth buying, or at least reading at a bookstore, because the scan quality on a lot of the stuff seems rather poor.

I know it has hardly been a week, but I hope you don't mind if I wrote down some thoughts ( ... )

One, Tamaki's maniacal obsession for commoners. It's hilarious to see Tamaki requesting for room service, but it's rather strange to have him appear upset- instead of mad-crazy ecstatic -that there is nothing but commoner stuff around. Your Tamaki does show some love for the commoner style, but it seems dulled down compared to the way he practically thrives on experiencing such things in the manga.

Maybe it's the fact that he doesn't have a Haruhi to get him even more worked up about it?

It's true that Tamaki's obsession exploded after meeting Haruhi, but the very core of it is already in him before he met her. The chapter where Tamaki first meets Kyouya, the very first thing he asks the bespectacled boy is, "Does your house have a kotatsu?" And the very reason he asked is because he wanted to enjoy the experience of keeping warm and having family bonding the way commoners do - all this explained in a long, eccentric Tamaki-style rant. When Kyouya said he only had western furniture in his house, Tamaki emo-ed. That time, Haruhi is clearly not around yet. ^^;;

I forgot the most important line -- in essence, he doesn't need Haruhi's presence to go berserk over commoners and their lifestyles, it's already an existing trait of his.
