I went on a day trip, but I never made it far enough to find an ocean.

Memento is a giant island. I psychically flew for a few days, but once I was past the edges of Memento, it was all ocean and ocean. There wasn't even a tiny island for landing, so when I was exhausted, I had to back-float and hope that there weren't predatory fish. (That was humiliating.)
