I popped by the sim just to see, I wasn't going to say anything.

I can see how the owner isn't all there.

Yeah, finding a long term stable sim can be a god send. I've been with the sim I'm renting on for almost two years now and love my spot.

So you had no management rights on the land you rented? So you couldn't return the megaprim yourself? Ugh what a pain!
Yes, sane owners are a happy thing and hooray for finding a better place!

Nope. The very first thing I went to do was try to return it. No joy.

But yes - yay for better places!

Actually, I don't think they are. It's a buyer beware kind of thing, I think. "We can boot you whenever we darn well feel like it." Thankfully, not many pull that.

Ugh, what a weirdo! I've been lucky and have been renting off and on at the same sim for almost five years now. I'm glad you found another spot!
