Has anyone had experience with these "Meeroos" I am seeing all over the grid? I joined a couple of groups advertising them and I swear, it's like a layer of hell reserved for used car salesmen!

Meeroos, no. KittyCatS, yes. :) Meeroos are just another kind of breedable, really.

I was given a meeroo. Since I can't remember to feed virtual pets, I had someone "neuter" it, so now it doesn't have to eat or breed. I let it roam around the store, and mostly just ignore it.

They're cute, and all, but I can imagine it would be expensive to have a whole bunch of them, since it's around 250L to feed one for a month.

I am not into breedables but I have several friends that have meeroos that easily number into the hundreds. People really love them, but I don't have the time to deal with breedables.

I don't either. Were you in Twisted chat when I mentioned I was having mine neutered? You would have thought I was drowning every kitten in the world the way some of the people were reacting.

Uh. It's pixels. It works as a decoration. It eats meeroo heads on toast. How can I pass that up?

No, I left the twisted group two hunts ago. I only went in this time for about 5 minutes to tell people that DE was down due to a slow restart (it took about an hour).

Staying out of Twisted chat is better for my blood pressure.

I have 26 of them right now, and tons of nests. I'd be happy to give you a free breeding pair if you're looking to get into the hobby.

I will warn you however that they need to be fed (63L per week, per Meeroo), and you will need a stump home (250L to house 8 Meeroos).

I have -enough- as is, but if you have something "rare" that isn't a winecoat or a gael, I'd like that... heh :) (What I want the most is a giant tribal with short upturned ears).
