I think you should go with #2, it'll give you a wholesome, classic look. A dress might be too much though, and I think you need to be a little dressier than a pair of pants.

Yes! I was actually going to go with that, but guess what? There were runs in my stockings! I was so depressed! So i'm going to have to go with the pants.

I would of gone for number two- because it's sort of half way sort of thing.
But I'm sure whatever you wear will look FAAAABulous.
People will love you for being YOU not for what you're wearing :]

yeah, i did want to wear the second one, but my stockings had runs in them. ugh! i had to go with the first one. but it was ok, since everyone else looked pretty casual.
