Just Dance [SO VERY OPEN]

Location: Crystal Ballroom, Blackstone Hotel
Content: Starr's set up a Halloween shindig to help raise people's spirits. Don't have a costume? Grab a mask at the door!
Format: Prose/Action/Party Style!

Note: Starr invited everyone. Even if she doesn't personally know your character they somehow found out about this party. IT'S COOL! JUST JUMP IN.
FYI, this is pre-black out...though I might have the party end with a black out so keep an eye open for that sub-thread :3
Starr was exhausted but proud of the work that she had done with Fleur. There were streamers and dorky little Halloween decorations (mostly Jack o'Lanterns, Witches, ghosts, skeletons/skulls, and toy spiders...about the only monsters missing are vampires and werewolves for whatever reason)all over the room. She'd hung up orange and black everywhere. The table was spread with mostly junk-type food: various cookies, cupcakes, punch, pizza, and of course candy. Starr had even decided to place a bucket near the door with various colored masquerade type masks so that if people wanted to have something to wear once they learned more about Halloween they could grab one.
Things looked pretty set. She just need to start up the music and she'd be good to go. She had already made sure that 'Thriller' and 'The Monster Mash' were somewhere in the mix since in her eyes it wouldn't be Halloween without them.
She just hoped this party was a success and that it brought people together. She knew they were in a scary situation and that she should take that seriously. But, she also knew that people out there needed a chance to relax. They could put aside their worries for one night and hopefully enjoy themselves. Just in case, Starr had strung up some garlic at the main entrance to the Ballroom. That old guy had said the place was warded but after the last incident Starr just wanted to be prepared. Plus, well, it didn't stand out from the other decorations.
