God I am exhausted, I could so totally think of cooler facts if I was awake.
* Cloud isn't quite capable of completely smashing the fourth wall - his meta is semi-anchored in reality. This is a little hard to explain, but he's, sayyyy, a tier below Solid Snake; he can't go around saying he's made cameos in other games, and though he knows his world is just a game in other worlds, he's incapable of being flat-out aware he's a fictional character, and instead views the game as some kind of spyglass into his real world. Meta things are integrated into that real world to him; menus, victory music, and fingers pointing at his head if I lose sight of him in camp are just a part of his everyday life.
* Cloud owns both the lingerie and the bikini briefs. This is because on his first visit to the Honeybee Inn, he went into the #@$% room, got raped, and then couldn't find anything useful. Confused and feeling vaguely violated, he tried the Group room. He was raped by many more men, only he actually got the underwear. Then to make matters worse, the honeybee girl gave him the lingerie on the way out. This is all because I was UNABLE to obtain the lingerie, restarted, and tried again, then looked up a guide to find out what the hell I did wrong. Cloud thus suffers the consequences.
* That was Cloud's virginity that was raped away in the Honeybee Inn. He HAD given head before, to another soldier when he was a nubile grunt in Shinra, but that's it. He had in fact never kissed a girl. :(
* Cloud still owns all his crossdressing clothes. They're key items; he can't get rid of them. They are in fact all the Best Ones, and he makes a very pretty, healthy looking girl.
* Cloud has a big scar down the front of his chest and down his back, from where he was stabbed through by Sephiroth. It's over three inches long - four, five ish inches in the back. It wouldn't be so big if it weren't for all the squirming and lifting he did while he was impaled. He also has a scar on his shoulder where he got hit with Masamune again. Basically, every time he's been impaled by Sephiroth, it's scarred.
* Cloud takes care of his motorcycle Fenrir as a hobby. It's a Shinra model he modified himself.
* Cloud is level 88, currently. He jumped 10 levels between endgame and Advent Children. He knows everyone I play automatically, because they join the party. He's the current party leader by default. Thanks to Cloud, Natalia has two menus - her main party menu she shares with my characters, and the party menu she shares with Luke. Colonello isn't always a party member - he just joins up when he feels like it. Cloud has W-Item and uses it to cheat without qualms - in camp he uses it to clone prize items for minigames. He has all four Enemy Skill materia, which have all the moves except one is missing Trine and two are missing the ??? move you get in Shinra Mansion because it was a pain in the ass.
* Cloud is a packrat. He always keeps items, hoards them, tries not to use them, and if a sword has special properties, he'll keep it in case it'll come in handy. He's not kidding when he says he uses all of the swords he still has.
* Cloud is actually reasonably sane now. Tifa restored his mind, and he hasn't had any flat-out blackouts or episodes since Kadaj's gang faded away and he was cured of geostigma. He still has incredibly trippy dreams and recurring nightmares, one of which is seeing the world in mako green, like he's looking out of his test tube. For as long as he and the Planet are alive, there will be remnants of Jenova, so he'll never be completely without an alien voice in his head. It's a very quiet voice now, though, and tends to only speak to him when he's exhausted or weak.
* Cloud talks a lot more than he does in AC because he's going back to how he felt before Geostigma hit him, after FFVII, but with the added bonus of the resolve to protect everyone he earned from all that time.
* Jenova is occasionally chatty in Camp, because random aliens are around and the Planet is WEIRD. When I say "chatty" I don't necessarily mean "makes any sense," she just starts speaking and complaining and interjecting overcomplicated human metaphors, even going haywire. Cloud thinks this is by far the strangest thing about the place.
* Cloud calls Red XIII "Red." On that note, he has a very simple (re: dumb) naming sense, and most of his chocobos are named according to what color they are, including Gold. This was partway in semi-honor of Red at first in a wry way, but really he's just dumb. If they're not named after their color, they're named after a monster or god.
* Cloud cares a lot about people, remembers their names, and looks out for them. He's just very withdrawn about it.
*Cloud automatically thinks better of you if you're good at raising Chocobos.
* When I was asked to describe Cloud's major character trait in one word, I said "repentant." At least Cloud no longer thinks he's alone, and will share his burdens with others. ...If they can catch that he has those burdens, because he doesn't really bring them up.
* Though he's mentally stable and has a solid, sorted-out sense of identity, Cloud has a very disjointed sense of self. He has very little self-awareness in regards to how people view him, his looks, his personality. Despite this trouble with conceiving how people view him, he does pay close attention to how others are feeling about things other than himself, so he has a lot of empathy there. But he'll rarely say what he's thinking and rarely clarify his actions or his words. He's getting only slightly better at this over time.
* Cloud loves camp. He would be completely zen about being here to begin with, but the fact that Zack, and now Aeris, are here, is a perpetual overwhelming comfort. He likes kids. He likes minigames. Tifa is here. He's honestly the happiest he's been since before the Nibelhelm incident.
* Cloud no longer hates Rufus and the Turks with any particular passion, but he does get pretty pissed off at them in a tetchy, suspicious, principled way. He gets along with Rufus' presence better than he does the Turks, because he sort of bullies the Turks automatically.
* Cloud loves both Tifa and Aeris. He sucks at it in both accounts, but it is true. (For the record, the date he went on was with Aeris.) He has a huge, huge crush on Zack mixed in with hero worship, adoration, friendship, and other retarded loving puppy nouns that still act up in his gut despite being so changed in the two years he's been conscious since Zack saved him. His usual response to these feelings is to go ._. and suck at it.
* Cloud will never be able to conceptualize being "stronger" than Zack, ever. Zack is and remains someone warm, kind and amazing, like a force of himself, who gave everything for him and forgave him for being pathetic and weak and assuming his life and worst of all, forgetting him.
