Catch-22 is great.

If you haven't read them already:
Geek Love - Katherine Dunn
Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov
Howl's Moving Castle - Dianne Wynne Jones (it's a children's book but it is really sweet and makes me really happy)

Arundhati Roy is one of my favorite writers- she's a big role model as well. And The Power of One is honestly my favorite book to film.

I'd recommend The Life Before Us by Romain Gary and Love in the Time of Cholera by Garcia Marquez. I think you'd really enjoy them both. You won't get as frustrated as with Lolita.

Enjoy the summer Great!

I have been meaning to read Garcia Marquez, I'll add that one.
And I did enjoy Lolita, eventually :)

You have a good summer too!
