For those who know me, I take criticism usually pretty well until it's aimed directly in way that is mocking the shape of my body. I agree with everything you said but you should be eating 4-5 smaller meals a day, and ALWAYS ALWAYS eat breakfast. Your metabolism is extremely slow after you wake up and it needs a kick start. The reason for smaller meals and more of them is really quite simple - digestion is work, and it keeps your hunger and energy levels in check.

I eat 5 meals a day, and always try and get in 1g of protein per pound of lean body mass, and stay below 2500 calories. That's been my diet for two years. I probably "cheat" (go above those calories) once a week. I've lost 55 pounds.
