Many of you may remember a time when I was attacked for my religion. I have not come in contact with such an experience like that until just now. Dan, a good friend of mine, has recently begun his path of Paganism. And on HIS OWN JOURNAL he was harrassed for believing in the Pagan path. Hm, people honestly take religion way too seriously.
Honestly just because somebody has different beliefs, as long as they don't force them upon people, I'm ok with it.
That's why I hate the religious right, imposing religion on politics.
Our constitution was made to protect the freedom of religion, and there is that old saying "Majority rule with the rights of the minority protected." Meaning if you're not in the most common religion you shouldn't be treated any less then a Christian (However this is certainly ironic coming from a christian in a republican county but whatever).

And the rot in hell thing was merely a figure of speech. I know very well that pagans don't believe in hell.

That's why Germany can be used in place of Hell in those kinds of statements.

It's just like how Jews get blamed for everything. People just take religion too seriously. Stand up for yourself and your friend. Bring out the awesomeness that is you, Kailei. ;)
