What you need to decide is based on customer service and how much you're willing to pay. The cheaper laptops get slotted with cheaper parts, while the more expensive ones get the same parts, but more durable. But for the most part, brand doesn't matter except in those two cases.
Dell has really good tech support but slow to get things back to you if they need fixing. Toshiba's parts tend to break down all at once in a toppled row, and they don't like fixing them. I don't know Lenovo.
