I think it is really important to be an artist, or at least have artistic inclinations, if you are to go into social work. You have to be able to create a beautiful enviroment for your clients. However, you have to be the type of artist who practices yoga, eats healthy, etc. You can be crazy, you just have to have a handle on it.
