i must look terribly funny in craft stores when i rub skeins of yarn against my face, as i cannot feel a significant texture difference when i feel it with my hands. so i rub it on my face to make sure.
anyone who thinks that looks funny hasnt been to a real yarn store. people practically jump in the bins (grin) for most of us the face is much more sensitive than our calloused and damaged hands.. although many people rub yarn on the inside of the wrist...

Figured I'd comment on this one because it actually has to do with being weird with yarn :)
Just thought I'd say that girl in the knitting community needs to go somewhere. She more just wanted to brag I guess to all of the "friendly" people in the community. And I guess comments about engagement rings in the knitting community aren't really acceptable, but about 20 posts because of her stupid comment are. OH, and she can't delete the comment, but could edit, as she edited one of her later 15 thousand comments to you.
Sorry. That community pisses me off to no end. Morons. Mean morons.
Last thing: That link in your bullying post is broken and I'd really like to read that article. I may try googling it.
lmao you know and it's not even like i actually found her engagement comment to be inappropriate or anything, it's that i thought she was trying to give attitude to the OP. in my experience, people usually only make comments like that when they think someone's asked a stupid question! :\
if you can give me maybe 10-15 minutes so i can fix firefox, i can probably find you a new link or an archived one. :O
