I have not left the Moon, to see the Nexus. I have had much to tend to here. Djehutymes hatched last night; he is strong and well, but must be fed every two hours.

Probably wise. I don't...think I'll go back. At least for a while.

It's all very depressing.

It's...getting worse, I think. I'm going back to bed.

Djehuty,
I'm glad to hear that you're doing better. I've been terribly worried.

Hermes,

I am not so well as I would like to be seen. My providence over time has left me; I have no internal sense of what is brief and what eternal; I have filled the Moon with clocks, to chime ever hour, every quarter hour, to tick each second.

But we are managing, and we have in some fashion our son.

Have you spoken to Courtney? My heart will be most sore if she becomes truly an avatar for something evil.

Your Ibis

Ibis,
I am so sorry to hear that. I've been gone for three days to try and stabilize my providence - if connecting yourself to that can help you, then by all means, do it.

I will look in on her.

[locked] Have you seen Dez's son, Emma's son or Liz's daughter? Is it true that I'm married to Norman Osborn?[/locked]

Your Hermes.

Ah, thank you. It is my time-keeping that is gone; have you much affinity there? My other providences have stabilized, mostly, I think.

Dez's son? Oh, Hermes. No, no; to my knowledge she has none. And yes, you are married, not always easily, to Osborn.

Can I help you in any way?

Oh my. It's very good to hear he's doing well.

And I um... there's something I should probably tell you about someone, er somegod, in the Nexus.

Yes. He is--he is very small, and downy.

Is it Set? I know that he is about, but has he bothered you?

simply_ellie January 8 2007, 02:50:07 UTC
He was so cute like that, all downy and fluffy, and when/if we can have kids, I hope we're lucky enough to have a child like him.

Yes, but ah... I wasn't feeling so well, and might've antagonized him. Stupid, I know. I offered to give him sauerkraut or extra creamy cabbage.

His eyes are not yet open! He looks a bit like this. But I hope that perhaps things may return to normal. As dear as it is to see him like this, I do not want him to have forgotten everything.

........extra-creamy? Oh, oh my, Ellie, good for you. I have not laughed once today, and now I have. But in seriousness, if he causes you any trouble, summon me? I will not brook harrassment of my friends.

Aww. I hope he still has the toys I gave him. I'm glad he's okay.

Yes, we have kept the toys. And he is well, and safe.

How are you, Courtney?

I feel good. I had wonderful dreams last night. Are you well?

Ah, that sounds wonderful.

I am well enough, thank you.

Can I do anything?

Huu, yes. We need more vitamins for Ruthven's meals. I can--perhaps I can send a baboon to pick something up? Thank you, so much.

The same combination I gave you before? I've got some packed cell units you can have, and some more iron tonic, if you want.

I've got incense burning in my little shrine.

Yes, those from before.

Ah, thank you. It helps. If--perhaps--could we make an appointment? If you are not too busy?
