((Yay Hathor! Srsly, I am always happy to see other Egyptian characters played, and I do enjoy so much seeing Hathor. I guess that's kind of...vague...um. Incidentally, I was very grateful that she said hi to Set and got him to promise to be a good boy in the Nexus--he could very easily become an unplayably nasty character, and I like having IC reasons to keep him toned down.

As far as icons, I really like the cigarette girl one here; and the hieroglyph-based "name" one is really attractive.))

This is going to sound odd, I'm sure, but I think Set is kinda woobie. Hathor likes him and doesn't want to see him cause any problems or get in trouble. She doesn't want to have to admonish him but I think she will if she has too.

((ROAD TRIP WOOO! I'm only going to be living in Boston for another month or so, and I'm already missing the MFA. Somehow I think they won't let me pack a near-life-sized stone statue with me when I move.

Derek is awesome. There are many things I like about him! Buuut, to pick one--I like that he gives sensible, practical advice in the Nexus. Hell, someone needs to. For Little!Derek, I always felt like his approach to art class was very realistic: I was never especially talented at art myself in high school, but I enjoyed it and worked at it. I also do enjoy reading Derek's vampire sagas.

Icons. Hmm. The "I'm flapping as hard as I can" one still makes me crack up every time I see it. The "hunter" one I also like, just because it succeeds in reminding me that Derek does complicated interesting impressive things other than give sane advice.))

The truth is, I haven't interacted a whole lot with Isis--probably because I don't post in DM nearly as much as I should. I am so very happy that she and Eiko have gotten together, though. They're very cute to watch interacting.

As far as icons--well, the whole Christmas series was totally awesome, of course. I like the photographic icons, and I like your default as well. I suck at picking favorites.

((Well, I still bounce over her exchanging corn Osiris mummies with Djehutymes! And in general, it's always nice to read about charcters who have real-world lives outside the Nexus.

Icons-wise, I find "haunted" and "cautious" very effective. But I was scrolling through and just died over "Our kittens!"))

((That was much fun! I have a friend who teaches some "Intro to Ancient Civilization" type classes for college freshman, and she has had them do mummified Barbies or corn Osiris-Kens. And I can only imagine what Set would think of the tiniest Ellie making corn Osirii out of her Breyer dolls!

Skuld!: OMG Banpei is so cute! I had no idea of his existence and then suddenly there is a Charming Robot! I must learn more about this series. I had heard of it before, but I've never seen any of it. Djehuty hasn't interacted with Skuld a whole lot until recently, but I should definitely change that. I like her Default icon very much--but the "bug" one is so charming!

Lina!: You know, I'm not sure any of my characters have really spoken to her when she wasn't being L-Sama? Another thing I must change! At any rate, I always enjoy reading her comments, and the recent plot thing was excellent. I think icon-wise, her "augh" icon is my favorite. Not, of course, that I wish to inflict AUGH-ness on her.

Lei!: I heart Lei. So much. As I think I've said before, I enjoy the way you show that she really does have to work sometimes to be as nice and as positive as she is. Also, she always made Tetu feel like he had his moments of being a competent teachery adult-

Hee. Banpei only shows up in the manga and the second TV series of the story, I think, but he is far too cute not to have available. He actually gets some good story arcs about starting to show emotions and having crushes on people. Very cute!

The 'Bug' icon is actually from the ending of the show - It basically shows Skuld's job in a nutshell - chasing Bugs, trying to stop bugs, having sisters trying to help and making things worse accidentally, getting frustrated. I love the simplicity of it.

I'm sure some people will have reason to talk to her now that she isn't L-sama. Sadly, she's still completely unknowing of anything going wrong for /her/ in the last reality 'xplosion. The 'Augh' one is really nice - alba_abulath made it for me.

Yaaay! Lei's icons were really hard. Saaya Irie is , er mostly a bikini model, so trying to crop it out so it doesn't look like she's /always/ wearing a swimsuit was a little rough. XD
