Thank you again for such lovely cups and the champagne! We would love to have you and your family over for dinner sometime if you're free.
And you know, for all the strange stuff that happens in the Nexus, maybe you could plan something that celebrates order? Maybe even a Heb Sed?
I have a package to send to you too, and I need to make Djehutymes another corn Osiris this year.

Oh, I hope you can use the cups--it is a pleasure to share good craftsmanship. And thank you, I would be honored to visit!
Huu, I suspect the Nexus as a whole would laugh at the prospect of an order-based festival.

I promise to dedicate the next thing I invent to you. It may not be a language or something, but it may be mathematical.

Really? Oh, you are most kind, Eiko, always so kind. And how are you, lately? Djehutymes brings home such wonderful things from class.

It's always a pleasure to help such a... what was the term I used? "Agreeable gentleman", that was it.
I'm fine! Isis and I are working on the wedding plans, it'll probably be late July as it stands now.
I'm glad he does. He was a bit put out for a bit that I wouldn't let him - anyone - take the lasers home, but I didn't think it was a good idea.
[locked] He's doing quite well, too. I'm very pleased.

Then I look forward greatly to late July!
And you were quite right. The last thing we need in the Moon is a laser. Really. He talked about mounting tiny lasers on the bats--but I think he was joking?
[locked] Good! He does not give you trouble?

Djehuty writes Hermes a thank-you note in a hitherto unknown alphabet, and immediately feels better.

Oh, dear, that would make typing very difficult, I think.

Oh, I wouldn't really do it. But there's something so fresh and exciting about a new letter. They're tasty.

I've never experianced a new letter before. I bet it would be fun. What do you think the letter would sound or look like, Djehuty?

I'm partial to glottal stops, myself, but then everyone would have to change spelling. What do you think about a letter to indicate pregnant pauses?
