Warped Tour
OK..warped tour was awesome...aaaweessommeee
I went with a few friends from SC and a few friends from high school to the Pomona Warped Tour
..leme see if i can work on a description of the day through pictures:
started out with a little matchbook romance..not bad
then went across whole place to see the starting line...all i can say is.."Bedroom Fuck"
watch out..or Kenny Vasoli is gunna tear your ass up like you just got married
next came the All American Rejects..a set highlighted by apparently drunk singer Tyson Ritter's interesting between song comments..
such as the infamous chocolate douche in your ear comment.
after them came Senses Fail..amazing live..and slowly becoming one of my favorite bands.
easily the best set of the day..My Chemical Romance..god Gerard is amazing..
Thrice..i entered having very high hopes for them, but i left extremely disappointed
Wasn't really planning on seeing Motion City Soundtrack, but im glad we did..great band live..
and that damn keyboardist goes crazy
Nothing much to say about Hidden In Plain View besides that they put on a pretty good show
Armor For Sleep was forced to get ready, leave the stage, then start late due to the umm...amazing...A7X, who wouldnt stop playing
AFS was pretty good live though..and they played Car Underwater which kicked ass
The day's events came to an end with Fall Out Boy..a great set to end a great day
But wait...there's one more thing that i think needs to be seen.
Yes, that IS Bert McCracken, the lead singer of The Used..No, that is NOT The Used hes performing with.
See, Bert here was playing with a group of guys who were banging trashcans and such..he had a painted trumpet and was singing very softly into the mic.
Apparently, Mr Bert McCracken has gone insane...nonetheless, his amazing performance pretty much made my day :)
the pics are all im capable of posting at the moment. I'll try to post more about the concert and other stuff at a later date..
but now..after 8 hours of standing in the sun...im going to pass out and hope that my horrible sunburn doesnt hurt like shit tomorrow.
