And I don't know how much this really warrants a remake...at least, I wouldn't really want to see it again. The two sequels are supposed to be terrible (the second one has a completely different cast for the same characters) and the third one has Jack Black...!
I don't remember the movie at all, when you first mentioned it I thought of that one movie with David Bowie and the girl who would eventually be known as Jennifer Connelly , I forget what its called, anyways the only thing I remember from the movie is that New Found Glory covered the theme song for their movie covers EP, ah the movie was called Labryinth.
