About the separation of the state from the marriage all together... I am entirely with you on that.

All of the hate and ugliness from both sides just needs to stop. I understand the vehement, but at the same time its destructive. I wish we lived in a time where private lives weren't part of everyone's business and one could be more anonymous. Utopia I'm beginning to believe.
