Stories told on the coherent blog post

It's come to my attention that this blog has been kind of quiet - some would say dead but let's be a bit optimistic here :) Many things have happened since the last time I wrote on this blog - which, if I remember correctly was heady sort of post on something Maggie Stiefvater and FOREVER related - and a great many things I wish to share about. Long time no speak! I got your postcard a few days ago (not too shabby, postmen!), we need to catch up soon, for real :)
SPEAK is amazing but I haven't read any of the others. I've heard a lot of good things about FINNIKIN OF THE ROCK and BLOOD RED ROAD though, and EON looks epic. Om nom nom books <3
Congrats to your sister!

OMG, look at those fabulous books! Eon is fantabulous. You gotta read it and the sequel and we can squee over it! I read A Game of Thrones but only got halfway through the second book before I got distracted and started reading something else (long time ago). I LOVE Patricia McKillip's book covers. They're simply gorgeous!

Blood Red Road was pretty good. Fast paced and a kick ass female. Haha. I read the Looking Glass Wars and liked it. His imagination is pretty creative, and well, the pictures are pretty... (Shallow side talking here. XD) AND YES. DAUGHTER OF SIENA! We must have tons of discussions!!!! <3<3<3.

yes yes yesss! :) So looking forward to it but so scared of picking it up then mooning over it for a good long time! Patricia McKillip somehow has the best cover designer ever! It's okay about GoT. It's pretty daunting and honestly, even when you get into it and you streak into it, it's pretty scary to pick it up day after day to finish it

I feel your pain - my shoulder aches when ever I visit a library after a month of not reading much. The North American cover of Eon is gorgeous - I hope you have fun reading!

Whooo! Welcome back to the internet!
I absolutely loved EON and LOOKING GLASS WARS. LGW is a really awesome sci-fi retelling of Alice. I actually recommend watching SyFy's Alice, it's a really awesome Alice twist. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1461312/

Hope to hear from you soon! :)

This is SUCH an awesome list of books! I'm jealous. I may turn up one day and steal them.

Patricia McKillip is awesome. Sometimes I see writers trying to be super lyrical and I'm like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING you sound like an idiot." And then I read writers like Patricia McKillip and I'm just utterly transported into this world of beauty and rhythm and leaving that world again is horrible.

*runs and hides books* You'll never find them!!! :)

SHE IS. And the horrible thing is that she's virtually nonexistant here in KL. It's sad but I take my pleasures where I can. Her stories are like brand new fairytales!
