Philosophizing over education

Last year, I was required to develop my "philosophy of education."  I had to write a paper in which I addressed What is the purpose of education? What should be taught? What is the student's role? and I had to provide an analogy that I felt education was like. This year, I am supposed to refine it and discuss what the teacher's role is, as well as

Sorry I didn't get to this on time, but honestly I couldn't tell you what to cut, the whole thing is really good. I like the "teachable moment". Hehe.
