What is the most hurtful thing you've ever done to someone?

I broke up with my fiancé.

I came home and found she was wanting and trying to kill herself. So I admited her to a clinic for depression. I waited 7hours in the ER while they got a room ready, when the room was finally ready they checked her in. I told her I'd be back the next day to see how she was doing, and then I told her I wouldn't be marrying her and I wanted to break everything off and just be friends. That really ripped her heart out.

Thing is, I had been dealing with her bullshit depression for two years of the engagment, which is the reason I didn't want to marry her. I conned myself into thinking she'd get better. I have no regrets and don't really care if she killed herself after moving back to Ohio. We don't talk. I did visit her though in the hospital. The day she was released one week later I started dating a new girl....this really pissed her off even more. Esspecially when I told her that we never had any sex so I didn't love her anymore.......sex is more important to me than anything in a relationship

My boyfriend and I were going through shit. I was suicidal and depressed.

I took all of it out on my best friend and blamed her.

Then she died.
