Went to see this this evening with some friends; I was only going really to be social and to get myself out of the house and to feel that I was occupying my time rather than sitting around watching lots of old Tom Baker episodes of Doctor Who on my own. Still, yup, "Pirates", eh

This is actually how I felt about much of the first film, with respect to Geoffrey Rush. Seeing the second therefore has no charms for me, much as I love pirates and the colonial West Indies - and Bill Nighy.
