Back in Edinburgh after a mildly enjoyable Christmas and New Year. Went back to Portsmouth for a few weeks to see friends and family, and nabbed an award for best English Student at my old college. Spiffy

Funny you should mention I, Claudius. I'm starting part 4 today. The thing is that I try to watch it once a year. I'd do so more often, but it's a Library set of VHS tapes. I would've bought the set long ago if I weren't feeling so frugal when I saw it used for about $35 or $40.
Do you get awestruck by who all turns up in the cast? Like "OMG, It's Kevin Stoney!!!" Even though it's the zillionth time watching it? I never realized Roy Stewart was in it until this time around. Small role, but still...

Abomination though you are, you have indeed produced what at first glance seems to be a decent play - though a thorough reading shows that it is indecent to the lowest degree. Naturally, I approve of it, even if it is clearly the case that the most memorable jokes were lifted from ME, and ME alone, and to MYSELF is due probably ALL of the credit for the ENTIRE text, seeing as I have CERTAINLY used ALL of the WORDS found within at least ONCE.

But I'll let it pass.
