Jensen goes over everything that Alona had told him on the phone before deciding what he needed to do. So a few hours after Jared had destroyed his computer, he was sending coded messages to both Ellen and Went, telling them there was a meeting at his house at nine that night.

Jared openly stares at Jensen, wanting to get him alone again. After the smoke detector had ruined the moment, Jensen had disappeared into his bedroom, only emerging when he went down to the basement, packing up duffels and tossing them in the corner. Jared had tried to talk to Jensen then, but Jensen just kept telling him it wasn’t the best time. So now Jared just stares at the older man, as he sits in his living room talking to the other two agents.

“But, Alona told you we weren’t to go after red fox,” Went reminds Jensen like he didn’t hear Jensen tell him that as soon as they all sit down in his living room.

“He killed Jude,” Jensen tells Went, “Besides, he doesn’t want anyone but us coming after him.”

“Which is probably exactly why Agen doesn’t want us to go,” Ellen imparts from her corner of the couch.

“With Eliza gone,” Jensen calmly tells the agents, “That makes me Charge Leader, and I say we go after the bastard.”

“And what are we supposed to do Jen, just roam the states looking for the bastard?” Went asks, looking at Jensen like he’s gone insane.

“If we get away from the agency,” Jensen tells him, pacing the floor, “He will contact us. Listen, he’s killed Jude, hurt Chris causing our real Charge Leader to disappear, he’s just fucking with us!” Jensen yells, his face turning slightly red as the pressure inside of him builds. “I say we fuck back.”

“What are we supposed to do for supplies?” Went asks, letting Jensen know he’s won, that he can count on Went and Ellen to help.

“Everything we need, I have,” he tells them, “It’s all packed up in duffels downstairs.”

“When do we leave?” Ellen asks, her eyes following Jensen as he moves around the room.

“Six tomorrow,” Jensen tells her, “I’ll need your Agen cells. We can’t take the risk of them tracking us.”

Went and Ellen both take their cells from their jacket pockets and hands them over. “We really should be going to bed soon,” Ellen says standing up and making her way to the hall. Seconds later, the three men could hear the clanging of metal and rise from their seats to help out with the loading of duffels.

Jared watches as Went leaves the room before he reaches out and tugs on Jensen’s arm. “Can we talk?” he asks shyly, his voice low so the others couldn’t hear.

“The kiss meant nothing Casper,” Jensen tells him with a smirk. “I was just happy for Eliza, I shouldn’t have kissed you.”

“But what if I want you to do it again?” Jared asks, looking away from the shorter man. A smile flits over Jensen’s lips before he pats Jared on the chest softly. He slowly turns and leaves Jared standing alone in the living room.

Jared’s staring at the dark living room ceiling. His watch had informed him it was two in the morning, but that could have been anywhere from ten minutes to an hour ago. He had given up his room to Ellen, trying to do the polite thing like his mother had taught him. Went had claimed the basement, sleeping on a cot that Jensen had bought from an army surplus store, and everyone had went to bed at ten thirty. Well, everyone but Jared, who now laid on Jensen’s couch in the living room. His legs stretched over the arm of the couch. He had given up on trying to get comfortable during the first twenty minutes he had tried. He just figured he would sleep while they were driving where ever they were going the next morning.

“Casper,” Jensen whispers in the silence of the room, startling Jared and making him fall from the couch. “Are you okay?” Jensen asks, standing beside the taller man and helping him up.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” Jared answers, thankful it was dark so that Jensen couldn’t see the blush that Jared could feel burning on his cheeks. “What are you doing?” Jared asks when he realizes that Jensen should be asleep since he had to drive the next morning.

Jensen just laughs as he tugs on Jared’ arm, “Come on Casper,” he says softly, “The couch is too small for you and my bed is big enough for both of us.”

“So we’re just going to sleep?” Jared asks as he follows Jensen to his room, adding as much innuendo to the question as he could.

“Down boy,” Jensen laughs softly, “If you wouldn’t have offered your bed to Ellen, she would be sleeping in mine.” Jared’s face fell slightly when he realized that Jensen wasn’t offering him more than a bed to sleep on.

Jared watched as Jensen climbed back into his bed and patted the opposite side, “I don’t bite,” Jensen tells him, the moon light falling over his face so Jared could see the grin that stretched from ear to ear. Slowly, Jared slid into the bed, trying his best not to the touch the other man, but failing miserably as Jensen wrapped his arms around him, “Night Casper,” was the last thing Jared heard as he fell asleep, protected in Jensen’s arms.
