Router question..

K.. so one thing I need to work out at grandma's is the internet. She's got my old laptop connected to the internet. Is it possible to hookup a router to a laptop? I'd think so yeah? You just hook it up to the modem like the PC?

I think she has DSL.. she might've gotten cable.. but I think she got DSL through aol.

I wouldn't want to have to connect straight to her laptop cuz then I'd have to stay close to the laptop.. which is in her bedroom and to beginwith it's a very uncomfortable setup to sit at.

I'm gonna just go ahead and order a Netgear router from dell. Then I guess if I have trouble setting it up I'll call her internet supplier or go to best buy. thanks :D

You know what a horror it would be if I didn't have internet on my laptop! :p
