Hi, to the random people visiting my semi concious journal.

Life is non-exciting right now. I've just been reading Pride & Prejudice and working. I deep cleaned my room last weekend.. While doing so I discovered the ipod shuffle I thought I had lost at the airport two years ago! hah! So now I have something to new to sell on ebay! It's in perfectly new condition, so perhaps I can get at least $50 for it ( Read more... )

pay definitely makes a difference! and it would make even the crappier job more tolerable. i mean seriously... how do they think people can live off of $7.85/hour? lol goodbye crappy wage. At least my new job will get me by for the next few years. next paycheck i'm opening a savings account 'cause otherwise i'll never end up saving a dime! too many temptations around.

Also. I don't care what people say, having extra cash can make a girl happy. But..we gotta learn to save it! I want to pay off my loans ASAP, we have provincial funding and you have 6 months interest free to pay back your loans (after you've finished school) and I'm fortunate that mine's not too bad, because I didn't need loans with my first degree but...I don't want the stress of it.

And it's also motivation to do well on everything haha. I'm too old to fail shit, not enough money to get held back if I do!

I have $800 in my savings. That's a lot compared to the $000000 I was living off of at school. lol omg does it feel good to not have to worry about how I'm going to pay for things. And having extra cash definitely makes a girl happy. I got a little sephora happy a while back. I curved that appetite finally. for now. hahaha Anyway, my main focus this whole time has been to only buy what's necessary even if it happens to be semi expensive. If it's over $50 I wait a while before I buy it. I don't even really care about getting a new computer. I'd rather get a corvette in 50 years. lol a retirement present.

Keep kicking ass in your program! :)

I think we made peace the last time we talked - I think I told you about how she was mad at me for some reason and I didn't know why and we talked it out and I still...really didn't really understand. But at the same time, she's so used to pushing people away.
I remembered. which is why when she started doing the same thing to me I got so frustrated at the time. And this was probably something like 2 years ago.

This post was so random of me to bring her up.. it was triggered by something I saw. So this was kind of my little closure post. My way of having my final say about what I feel and moving on. And yeah, acceptance. I'm sure you know how hard it is for me to let things go. So it took a while. lol Oddly enough... I'm going back to Buffalo for Halloween to visit friends there. The whole bunch of us are meeting up there at crashing at our friend Tara & Jereme's. it's gonna be crowded. But I'm looking forward to it so much!
