Mod: Farewell
Well, as you lovely fiber-minded people may have figured out by now, I'm not going to be doing a Secret Pal on LJ 3 any time soon, or possibly ever. A combination of a full class load my senior year of college, working, being quite involved in two school programs/clubs and keeping the house relatively cleaner than a tornado's path looks is just not going to allow me to wrangle so many people and deadlines and emails for three months. I'm really sorry about this, but it's just not possible at this time. I also think an October-December run would be difficult because of the (western hemisphere Judeo-Christian) holidays and all they entail falling smack in the middle of it.
If any of you would like to run SPLJ3, by all means, go right ahead! I would love to participate again, but as I said, I just can't run the thing. If you want to take over secretpal_lj3, the comm I already made, just let me know and I'll hand it over to you. (First come, first serve, if it even gets to that point.) Do it however you'd like and I'll probably join, and then we'd all get to participate again.
Again, my apologies for backing out, and for waiting until the last minute (I know I kept saying we'd run from October first). I had so much awsome fun in the first two, and maybe I'll start it up again this summer or something. I'll miss this all, and I'll miss getting to see everyone's loot and talking about yarn and stuff! Thanks for being nifty.
