At the heart of chaos, where all
things became one, appeared an Egg.
Having tumbled from the vortex, the
Egg gave rise to the Original One.

Time started to spin.
Space began to expand.

[Excuse this guy; his knowledge of pokémon is very limited. And you can just hear him mispronouncing Arceus' name. But you also get a thoughtful look as he ponders the creation of his world(s).]
I don't know about the creation of my home world. But the floating continent I lived on was created by a mage. A bad one. He disrupted the balance of light and dark, which ripped out part of the world and threw it into the sky. We were chosen because of the imbalance he caused, so I think it's true.
I've been to another world, but... [HMMM HOW TO WORD THIS?] it was really weird. Like it was incomplete. That world would bring people from other worlds, like Vatheon does. But parts of it looked like they were from the worlds we came from.

That does seem very strange. For the pokemon world, I believe there's only our world and the Distortion World, which is a world of antimatter. It, also... seemed incomplete. Gravity didn't work properly; you would be walking in a way you thought was upright until you found a wall, and simply ended up walking flat along that. Waterfalls flowed upwards, or sideways... everything about that world was so chaotic and yet, so quiet.
So there's no mythology on the existence of your universe?

I wonder if there's a purpose for your Distortion World. If something created it for a simpler purpose, instead of creating a world for life to flourish.
As for my own world... [A quick glance away] I don't know. People in my village didn't even know there was a world below the floating continent. The Gulgans probably have a world creation story, but we didn't have much time to talk to them.

They didn't assume that there was a planet's gravitational pull that was keeping their continent from drifting into space?
Reply
There's a tower that [probably] magically kept the continent floating. [A pause] Mind explaining gravity to me? It sounds like it's more than what keeps our feet on the ground. A [a moment of hesitation] friend could cast a spell named the same.

You don't know the theory of gravity?
[Then allow her to explain.]

[If she's explaining gravity with MATHS, this is gonna give him a major headache making sense of it all. If not... well, he's getting a headache anyway. Both ways, he's paying close attention!!]
So... everything is pulled to the center of the planet? And... [Thinking for a bit] does everything have gravity, not just planets?
Reply
[It's okay dear it's not THAT hard to understand.]
In theory, yes. But the reason planets are so noticeable are because their gravity is so much larger than the gravity generated by anything much smaller than that.
Reply
That makes sense. [A nod. Oh yes, manners.] Thank you for the explanation.

It's a legendary title, back in my home world.

I also have a title, but I don't think it's really "legendary"?
Reply
Really? What's your title?
