Sometimes, I really don't get the whole big deal about houses. I've got friends in Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin, and the only difference between us is the colour of our robes. So you're a Slytherin. I could give a damn. It's just a name, after all.

As for the lost memory thing - damn, that sucks. You haven't got any clue at all?

I can really agree with you there. I wish more people'd look at it that way. Not that it really matters, but what House are you in anyway?

And my past is a mystery to me... missing seven years of my life. *shrugs* I'm actually surprised I haven't given up trying to figure it out.

Me, I'm a Gryffindor.

Well, it is your life, after all. Why shouldn't you want to figure it out? If it were me, I reckon I'd want to find out everything I could.

Yeah, that's true. And then maybe I could get rid of all those rumors flying about Hogwarts.

I feel so out of place.

At least you're in the world where you belong, though.

Wow! I didn't know McGonagall had a son! Goes to show how much I know about anything though ...

She put a Memory Charm on you? Okay ... that's going a bit far.

"I'll explain it to you one day when you're old enough to understand."
Ah, the classic parent line when they don't want to tell you something because they know it'll upset you or turn you against them.

Oh, and yeah, I agree that Snape is a distasteful git.

I'm Dove, by the way.

*grins* A lot of people are surprised of my existence as Professor McGonagall's son. I was in the Daily Prophet once, but... that's a whole story in itself.

Ah, the classic parent line when they don't want to tell you something because they know it'll upset you or turn you against them.

Exactly. And it only makes me want to figure it out even more.

I'm Dove, by the way.

*smiles* Hi. I'm T.K.

Oh, well, I don't really read that paper, so I must have missed that one. I bet you got all the attention for ages, though!

What's she like as a mum? Is she as harsh as she is in classes?

Bug her.

It's nice to meet you.

Yeah, I reckon I did. That's where all the rumors come from, too.

Nah, my mum's not so bad, except for when I get in trouble. *slight smile* She's a lot tougher when she teaches than she is when she's not.

It's nice to meet you.

*smiles* You, too.
