No, JJ said they're not going to recast Chekov, thankfully. He said Anton "deserves better than that." I'm really happy they're making another one, though, despite the loss. I was sure they wouldn't and surprised when they announced they were. The cast is so great together and have become such a close family, I'm just happy they get to work together again.

Oh, good. I agree that it would feel wrong to replace him. Maybe they could reboot Christine Chapel or something if they want another member of the gang. :)

Yeah, agreed. I was thinking that if they wanted to add another person, it should be another lady.
