I cannot believe Christmas is coming on so soon. I took a walk last night, and all the shops have put up those tiny colourful lights, and snow in the windows and pictures of that "Santa" man I learned of last year. It's all very nice to look at, and I'm excited ( Read more... )

All is well as can be expected Merlin. That is to say, I'm huge, my feet are sore, and without the alterations you made, I wouldn't fit into my clothes.

Actually, yeah. I could use some help doing small stuff around the house. You know, getting the mail, maybe reading to me once in a while. I realize that makes me sound like I'm eighty, but I'm not. I just have trouble touching library books, and I didn't bring any of my own.

It's all right. I know it's a weird thing to say. But the thing is, I have. Um. Powers that show me things about people when I touch them or something they've touched. So you can see why getting the mail or getting a library book could be unusually difficult. If you even believe in this kind of thing.

Oh, wow. You're like a kind of seer, then! I've never met anyone with that particular power, though. I can see where that would be... a heavy burden to bear. But it must be awfully useful sometimes!
