Girls are like tea bags- they don't know how strong they are till they end up in hot water...

I confess: I am the most horrible livejournal user ever...almost an entire month since my last update. What a slacker...and I hate slackers! I just haven’t had time to write…and I mean that truthfully. And any time I have found a minute here and there, I’ve been writing in my good old fashion private tangible journal…I’ve only been keeping them ( Read more... )

RNAi = RNA interfefence. Basically, it is using certain types of RNA (short hairprin- shRNA or small interfereing- siRNA, for instance) to block the signals in some genes. In my case, I'm trying to see if a form of RNA can be used to block the signals of an oncogene, therefore blocking the oncogenetic signaling pathway and making it impossible for that cancer gene to signal cancer.

she deserves to be beaten by peta activists. i can't believe that she said that. humans are wasting the world and causing animals to be homeless. and she doesn't think that its a good enough idea. what an ass. ah! if i get started i'll never stop. i just must say she doesn't deserve to think

Haha my thoughts exactly! Until now I didn't really mind the woman, but that one incident changed my opinion of her entirely. It was all I could do while standing in her office listening to that nonsense to not smack her or something, but then I figured I might get suspended...but then again, would getting suspended be a bad thing? ;)

I so totally agree Jenny these animal cruelty cases are getting way out of hand. If people cannot afford to treat an animal like there own equal in life then they do not deserve such a pleasure to care for an animal in there own home.
Also what is your favorite tea? I see you bring in the mugs but what do you really have inside it? hehehe ;-)

Exactly!
Hehe what do I have in the mug huh? Well a little Vodka and a lil' touch of....
Yea just kidding.
Just plain old black tea with cream and honey. That's my favorite...Red Rose brand especially (Rosie's show name is even named after it b/c it was my favorite when I was little too ;) )
And you have to make sure to have TWO tea bags...double the caffeine...and I can't get throught the a.m. without it! :o)

Lol. Geez Jenny. I'm not one for tea (seems like I'm the only one among us who isn't) but I've started carrying coffee around so come Monday, that will be my caffine-filler (well, I do drink decaf, but that's not the point... lol.)
