Wow my entries are getting few and far between. I just never have time to update and have even less time now since the fall session of "dog school" began this week. Let's see,
Monday- school, cross country practice until 5:00, get home at 5:30, leave again to go to the club to teach an Advanced Beginner Dog Agility class from 6:00 to 7:30, and then Rosie's Advanced Dog Agility class follows that from 7:30 to 9:00, get home between 9:30 and 10:00.
Tuesday- school, cross country until 5:00, then free for now but soon to be taken up at the lab.
Wednesday- school, cross country until 5:00, then free for now but soon to be taken up by the lab.
Thursday- school, cross country till 5:00, get home at 5:30, leave again for Rosie's Utility Dog Obedience class until around 8:30 and then get home after 9.
Friday- school, cross country practice till around 5, get home at 5:30, and leave again for Rigsby's Secondary Dog Obedience class at the club from 6 to 7:30, then come home on time to get to a game or dance or whatever.
And all week it's mounds of homework when I get home until I finish, which usually ends up being some wee hour of the morning.
Then Dog Agility or Obedience Trials from morning to night on both Saturday and Sunday every week.
So anyway, to update on the last week :
Everything pretty much went as I said above. My time teaching Monday's class was interesting- a Chihuahua decided he was mad at me and attacked me on the ankle, Wednesday we did a Therapy Dog demo and visit at Kingsway Manor Assisted Living, and other than that nothing terribly odd happened. This weekend we went to the Fireplug 500 walk for the Animals and did a Dog Agility demo.
As far as school, it's OK. The homework has been heavy and I've had my share of late nights but I'll get by. Physics and Chemistry are working OK together but Mrs. Baxter is still trying to get me to drop Physics because she thinks I'll stress too much. I know she's right, but I'm just never willing to give something up once I start it. What else really strikes me as odd is when your advisor tells you to just not do homework if you don't get it. Call me paranoid or a perfectionist, but I just can't do that. I'll sit up until I get it done.
One interesting event of this week was the snake incident . I can't believe everyone freaked out about a tiny little snake that was in the computer room. I was hearing about how I just picked it up and put it out the window all week. Big deal. People are so afraid of animals it's pathetic. And now we can't run the hill in back of school and might have to cancel our home meet because someone saw a fox. My God, people think every wild creature is out to get them.
Well, I don't have much more to say...and if I did I wouldn't have time to because I've gotta bOuNcE!
