I'm not sure if it's the economy or what, but lately there have been quite a lot of buskers in the area around my home. It's always nice when life gets a soundtrack. Here's the roundup of the local entertainment

There used to be a woman who played flute on Thayer Street in Providence who was kind of infamously unlistenable. On the other hand, I once heard a tuba player play the John Coltrane song 'Giant Steps', and it really turned my mood around -- how bad can you feel about a world where that sort of thing can happen?
