I can see my friends without travelling an hour each way.

Take that, wireless network!
Ha! The mystery of the wireless network has been solved. The router's default settings included something called "Super G Ultra-Speed Mega Hyper Fast Blingy Bling" or something to that effect. Whatever it was, this snazzy feature rendered the router completely inaccessible to my computer. I stumbled across it, turned it off, and blammo-my wireless ( Read more... ) -
