I know I've told some of you that yesterday I had a test. In art history. Said test was at 10:30. I didn't really remember that we were having this test until after my audit, which was at 9:30. So I managed to get in a half hour of studying immediately before the exam, just skimming the notes I had on my computer. Results were posted today. I ( Read more... )

man, your comment about grades- you're reading my mind. i excell at all my classes until it requires some kind of ACTUAL performance (beyond the realm of memorizing fingerings)

with a foreign language- meh. that's what summers are for. :-) you're a step ahead of most people starting language classes- since you do a hella lot of IPA and translation for your singing.

i keep meaning to tell you, but keep forgetting --> it has recently come to my attention that 'laughing wild' is overdone in auditions. the grad student flint told me on thursday that she 'hates the tuna fish monologue'. of course maybe only the woman's part is overdone. anyway, i'd suggest either finding a different one (though time is running short) or you'll just need to own it. no pressure.

ugh, 23 hours is INSANE. please don't do that. i'm not even sure it's legal! anyways... we'll all be in college forever together. it'll be a good time?

I don't really think I would do 23 hours. It would really make it impossible to be in any shows. Even though we'll be in college forever, the difference is that you'll be graduating with the equivalent of a master's when I'm finishing my bachelor's. I'm still eager for next year, though.
