School's back. That's ok. Life is in general uneventful. That's ok, too. Happy new year, all. Rain!


1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Been the only child home for longer than a week. Lost a grandmother. First stage kiss. Gotten a certain grade at semester. Dealt with romantic tension (ooer).

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year. This year I plan on being less annoying.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes.

5. What countries did you visit?
None outside the US

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
No idea.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Summer as a whole

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
First lead in a musical. Getting closer to some really cool people. Taking a bigger role in some things

9. What was your biggest failure?
Stressing out. Talking too much. Being elitist/bossy. Losing my CD's . . .twice.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No, but people close to me did.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Music!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My mom's (circa late August), Katie S's, that of friends who came out

13. Whose behavior made you annoyed or depressed?
Charlie's (only because he left), Caroline's a little bit, that of some other kids at school, one teacher's, terrorists', my Dad's on isolated occasions

14. Where did most of your money go?
Music

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Theatre in all its forms

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Songs from Into the Woods or Pippin

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? both to some extent
ii. thinner or fatter? thinner!!

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
No idea.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Stressing, slacking, talking

20. How did you Christmas?
Home with my family and then dessert at the Lundeens'

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
No.

23. How many one-night stands?
None.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Gilmore Girls, Arrested Development, and The OC snuck in at the end

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
As Caroline said, "Dislike; yes"

26. What was the best book you read?
A Year of Wonders (so good)

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
So many! Smiths, Chuck Coleman, Sigur Ros, Killers, Shins, Belle & Sebastian, Rilo Kiley, Jon Brion, Frou Frou

Can't say

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Again, so many! Eternal Sunshine, Big Fish, A Very Long Engagement, Sideways, Phantom of the Opera, Saved!,   I <3 Huckabees, The Incredibles, Ray

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was in upstate NY. I went out on my uncle's hobie cat, ate at one of my favorite Italian resturaunts, saw my family. Turned 15! (aw)

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
The absence or prolonged presence of certain people

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
I don't know. I was happy with it, and it suited me

34. What kept you sane?
Music, music, and more music. And my Mom.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Ha, I can't pick.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The election of course

37. Who did you miss?
Charlie and other people at college and/or not at PCDS

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Don't make me pick. A couple people at Childsplay, some kids at Life Teen, some freshmen

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
Be more trusting. Sometimes you just clap (heehee). Don't get caught up in the allure of attention. Change can be really good. Making phone calls isn't ALL that scary. Accept the fact that some people don't like you.
