Weevil was just about ready to do something stupid, just to see how it would shake things up around here.

For now, he was keeping himself from doing anything that might land him in jail. So he was playing 'bounce the basketball off his wall' game. Because that was a constructive use of his time.

He had left the door to his room open.

Ivanova appeared in the doorway in due time, leaning against the frame with her arms folded across her chest and eyebrow raised. "I may have been out of circulation for a bit, but doesn't one usually use a hoop for that?"

Weevil shrugged. "But if I took this outside, somebody might think I'd want to play."

"They always put 'doesn't play well with others' on my report cards," Weevil said.
